Taylor has replaced club captain Russell Anderson who has been missing through injury
Aberdeen captain Russell Anderson has thanked the Red Army for their support during the 2013-14 season.
The Dons’ average home attendance at Pittodrie was 13,085 – a notable increase on previous seasons.
Anderson said: “The support we’ve had this year has been exceptional, not just in the biggest games but all over the country, all kinds of games, day and night.
“We all understand how much supporters have to sacrifice in time and money to follow us and believe me, it is very much appreciated by everyone in the changing room.”
