Leeds United and Bolton Wanderers have expressed their interest in Aberdeen striker Niall McGinn, according to media reports.
Newly appointed Leeds boss Uwe Rolster, having previously worked with McGinn when he was on loan at Brentford in 2011/2012, is keen to sign up the star, who is signed up with the Dons until 2017.
And Neil Lennon, who was manager of McGinn during his spell at Celtic, is targeting a second move for the 27-year old.
It is thought to be Bolton’s second move for the Aberdeen star, having tried to enter talks in the January transfer window.
The Dons could see themselves get an estimated £500,000 for one of their players who has progressed and shone during his time at Pittodrie.
McGinn has never expressed a desire to leave the club that gave him back first team football after signing him on a free in 2012 after his deal with Celtic expired.
