Aberdeen have resurrected their moved for Paul Quinn and the defender is on his way to Pittodrie to sign for the club.
The Press and Journal broke the news this morning Quinn had pulled out of a move to Pittodrie last night but an 11th hour intervention from manager Derek McInnes has ended with the former Motherwell defender agreeing to travel north and complete the formalities of his deal.
Quinn will undergo a medical and complete his registration documents this afternoon. The 29 year-old, who joined Ross County in October, is out of contract after helping the Staggies stay in the Scottish Premiership.
McInnes is looking for defensive reinforcements and Quinn’s versatility as a right back or right-sided central defender appeals to the Aberdeen manager.
