Scott Vernon heads the list of players departing Aberdeen after being told he will not be offered a new deal by the club.
The 30 year-old is joined by fellow forward Josh Magennis and goalkeeper Nicky Weaver in departing the club.
Dons manager Derek McInnes said: “I would like to thank all the players for their contributions to the club and wish them all the very best in their future careers.”
While the three players begin planning for life away from Aberdeen captain Russell Anderson and midfielders Barry Robson and Nicky Low have signed new one year deals to stay at Pittodrie.
McInnes said: “All three have made important contributions to the season just finished and I’m looking for them to play their part in the progression of the club next season.”
Defender Alan Tate has also left the club following the end of his loan spell from Swansea while the future of Shaleum Logan, whose loan from Brentford has ended, remains unclear.
McInnes would like to keep Logan and talks are ongoing between the player, whose contract with Brentford expires this summer, and the Dons.
