Graeme Shinnie’s fine form in Aberdeen’s rise to the top of the league looks set to be rewarded with call-up to the Scotland squad.
Gordon Strachan is reportedly set to name him in his squad for crucial Euro qualifier double-header against Poland and Gibraltar.
The left-back is currently receiving treatment for a heel injury and is set to miss the Caley Thistle game on Saturday.
But his form in the Dons’ unbeaten start to the season has been exceptional and has apparently caught Strachan’s eye according to the Daily Record.
Speaking about his potential call-up today, Derek McInnes said: “I haven’t spoken to Gordon Strachan but would be a real boost if Shinnie was called up.”
