Scotland’s top-flight clubs will have to wait until Tuesday to learn their post-split fixtures, Press Association Sport understands.
The make-up of the Ladbrokes Premiership’s top and bottom sixes was confirmed after Saturday’s fixtures, with Motherwell, St Johnstone and Ross County all relieved to be given a shot at qualifying for Europe, leaving Dundee, Partick and Inverness disappointed as they were locked out of the top half.
The Highlanders still have Tuesday’s re-arranged clash with Hearts to play but it will not affect the post-split run-in.
However, bosses from the Scottish Professional Football League were still working on the fixture list on Monday afternoon, with clubs warned it would be the following morning at the earliest before an announcement could be made.
