Dundee manager Paul Hartley claims his club is yet to receive any bids for attacker Greg Stewart.
Aberdeen and Rangers had been heavily linked with a move for the 26-year-old, who was shortlisted for the PFA Scotland player of the year award.
The Dons, however, have cooled their interest after being priced out of a move for the former Cowdenbeath player who still has a year left on his contract at Dens Park.
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes instead turned his attention to out of contract forward Miles Storey with the club signing the 22-year-old, who spent the season on loan at Caley Thistle, on a pre-contract agreement yesterday.
Hartley said Dundee have not received any bids for Stewart or leading-scorer Kane Hemmings, who also made the PFA Scotland shortlist.
He said: “We have said before we are not about to sell those two players.
“But we cannot stop the speculation around them. They are good players.”
