Willo Flood could be set to leave Aberdeen after being linked with a move to recently relegated Dundee United.
Flood has racked up over 100 appearances for the Dons since joining in 2013 and the Irishman still has a year remaining on his contract.
But new Tannadice boss Ray McKinnon is understood to be keen to bring Flood in for a third spell with the Arabs as he tries to assemble a team capable of winning promotion at the first time of asking.
The Scottish Sun have reported that United are on the lookout for a large number of new signings after releasing a number of high earners – including Dons new boy Callum Morris.
Stewart Murdoch has already arrived from Ross County on a one-year deal and McKinnon is pushing to add more new faces.
However, Dons boss Derek McInnes is understood to be keen on keeping Flood on board and could be ready to resist any offers for his services.
