Aberdeen are closing in on a deal for former Hearts goalkeeper Neil Alexander.
The 38 year-old is a free agent after leaving Tynecastle at the end of the season and has agreed a one-year deal to join the Dons.
The Dons have already strengthened their squad on the first day of pre-season training today as former Dundee United defender Callum Morris signed a one-year deal this morning.
Alexander is set to complete the formalities on a 12-month deal in time to join the Dons at their training camp at St Andrews tomorrow.
The veteran will become Derek McInnes’ fourth signing of the close season joining Morris and attackers Jayden Stockley and Miles Storey in making the move to Pittodrie.
