Former Aberdeen defender Kevin McNaughton has joined Caley Thistle for pre-season training.
The full back, who will be 34 next month, is a free agent following his release from Wigan Athletic.
McNaughton has spent the last 10 years in English football since leaving the Dons in 2006, playing for Cardiff City for nine years before moving to League One club Wigan last summer.
However, he was restricted to just two appearances for Gary Caldwell’s side as they won promotion to the Championship and became a free agent on Friday.
New Caley Jags manager Richie Foran has moved quickly to offer McNaughton the chance to train with the Highlanders this week.
McNaughton is also attracting the interest of Dundee and Dundee United and has also been linked with a move to the United States.
