Aberdeen have completed the loan signing of Bristol City and Wales forward Wes Burns.
The 21-year-old could even make his first appearance as soon as this evening against Ventspils as the Dons look to progress in the Europa League.
Burns was on loan at Fleetwood Town last season, scoring five goals in 14 appearances for the English League One side.
The striker can also play out wide and has recently signed a new two-year deal with the Bristol club.
Manager Derek McInnes, who worked with the 21-year-old at Ashton Gate, told afc.co.uk “I am delighted to get him. Wes is a fantastic young talent who can play right across the front line. He has got a brilliant attitude and plenty of motivation to do well with us.
“I would like to thank Bristol City and Lee Johnson for their help in making the deal happen as Wes had plenty of options.”
He becomes Aberdeen’s seventh signing of the summer after the additions of fellow forwards Jayden Stockley and Miles Storey, goalkeepers Neil Alexander and Joe Lewis and defenders Callum Morris and Anthony O’Connor.
