The former Gor Mahia midfielder has been a target for a number of clubs, including recently-promoted side Rangers. But he confirmed to Goal that he is in the process of finalising travel plans with Aberdeen and is expected to begin his trial as early as this week. “I will be travelling to Scotland for trials with Aberdeen, they have invited me for a two week activities and I hope I will impress them,” he said. “I have been waiting for the opportunity to play abroad and since this one has come, I have to commit myself and work for something positive. “Well, I am very pleased with it and equally positive that the outcome will be good.” Dons boss Derek McInnes has admitted an interest in the player. But the club wouldn’t confirm whether Aucho’s claim that he will be at Pittodrie for the next two weeks is correct.
