Aberdeen have confirmed the signing of former Bradford City defender Kesiolu Omolokun.
The English centre back, who was on the books of City since the age of eight, will be part of the Development Squad this season after putting pen to paper on a one-year deal.
The 18-year-old has been on trial at Pittodrie this past week and did enough to impress U20s coach Paul Sheerin.
He said of the the young defender: “The central defensive position was an area we have been looking to strengthen.
“Kesi played in a closed doors friendly game against Dundee on Friday and did well.
“We saw enough that made us want to put something to him, we have done that and he has agreed to join us.
“Hopefully his clearance will come through in time for him to be involved in the game tomorrow night against Formartine in the Irn-Bru Cup and then we look forward to working with Kesi in the months ahead.”
