Cove Rangers have signed midfielder Declan Glass on loan from Dundee United.
The 19-year-old, who has made 10 appearances for the United first team, has joined Cove on loan until the turn of the year.
He bolsters a depleted Cove Rangers squad ahead of Tuesday night’s Betfred Cup tie against Caley Thistle.
Manager Paul Hartley said: “We are grateful to Dundee United for allowing Declan to join us and we are really looking forward to working with him.
“He’s a young player I’ve been aware of for some time and I was really impressed when I went to see Declan playing last week.
“He can perform in a variety of positions, which is good when you have a squad as tight as ours is at the moment, and already has good experience of playing at SPFL level.
“Declan is a talented attacking midfield player, who will give us added strength in that area of the pitch. I’m confident he will do very well for us.”
Glass made 12 appearances on loan at League 1 side Airdrieonians last season and follows Daniel Higgins, Nathan Mears and Jamie Redman in joining Cove this summer.
