Cove Rangers has added to their forward line after Dundee United striker Matty Smith joined the club on loan until January.
The 22-year-old has arrived at Balmoral Stadium and goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s Ladbrokes League Two match against Cowdenbeath.
Cove boss Paul Hartley said: “I’m really looking forward to working with Matty.
“Gordon (Young, Paul’s assistant manager) knows him very well from his time working with United and believes he can make a big impact during his time with us.
“It’s a marvellous opportunity for Matty to make a name for himself and it’s great that we are getting a player who has already played a number of games for United at high levels.
“I would like to thank United manager Robbie Neilson for allowing Matty to spend some time with us.”
Dundonian Smith was a youth player with Aberdeen and St Johnstone before joining United in 2014.
He follows in the footsteps of United midfielder Declan Glass, who also agreed a loan deal with Cove Rangers.
