Cove Rangers striker Ola Adeyemo pens extension until end of the season

Cove Rangers striker Ola Adeyemo has signed a contract extension until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old initially signed a short-term deal with Cove until January and will now be part of their promotion push in League One.

Adeyemo has made seven appearances for Cove this season and has had to be patient because of the form shown by Rory McAllister and Mitch Megginson.

He came off the bench against Albion Rovers in the SPFL Trust Trophy and set up a goal for Jamie Masson.

Cove have also announced that goalkeeper Balint Demus has been recalled from his loan spell at Formartine United.

Demus had lost his place between the posts to Ewan MacDonald and has instead joined fellow Highland League side Keith on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
