Elgin City have signed midfielder Calvin Roddie from Norwegian club Honefoss BK on a deal until January.
Roddie returns to Scotland having started his career with junior side Colony Park.
The 23-year-old, who is the son of former Aberdeen player Andy Roddie, became one of his father and Tommy Wilson’s first signings as co-managers of Huntly in January 2017, but returned to Colony Park prior to his move to Scandinavia.
Roddie had been with the Norwegian fourth-tier outfit Honefoss since February, but has now joined Gavin Price’s men on a short-term contract in time for Saturday’s League 2 trip to Brechin City.
