Elgin City’s have made their appreciation for NHS workers fighting the coronavirus pandemic clear – with a message of thanks mown in to the Borough Briggs playing surface.
The work of groundsman and director Cecil Jack, as well as volunteer Jim Farquhar, is shown in all its glory in the video clip below, which was posted last night ahead of the weekly Clap for Carers:
🤍 THANK YOU NHS
This week Groundsman & Director Cecil Jack, along with volunteer Jim Farquhar have been busy on the pitch writing a message for our Health Heroes!
An Elgin spokesperson said the pair had done a “fantastic job” in displaying the League Two club’s gratitude.
Aberdeen are another club who have previously transformed their playing surface to recognise the sacrifices being made by health workers during the Covid-19 outbreak.
