Stephen Bronsky is targeting promotion from League Two next season after signing on for a fourth campaign at Elgin City.
The defender, who joined the Black and Whites in 2017, has signed a contract extension with City and believes the continuity in Gavin Price’s squad means Elgin, who were third in the table when the season was brought to a halt, are well placed to challenge for promotion.
The 26 year-old said: “I feel as if there’s some unfinished business to attend to after now last season ended. Hopefully we can go one further this season and push for promotion.
“We have a good group of boys and the majority from last year are still here which is key. I can’t wait to get started.
“I’m happy to have signed on at Elgin for another season. We are in some pretty unprecedented times so I’m delighted to finally get something sorted and agreed for this year.”
Elgin director Isla Benzie added: “We’re delighted to have signed Stephen for another year.
“Again, this allows the continuity in the squad that performed so well prior to lockdown and it is fantastic that our 2019/20 supporters player of the year is returning to Borough Briggs.”
