Elgin City have made their first move of the summer by adding former Edinburgh City forward Olly McDonald on a two-year deal.
McDonald is a former youth product of Kilmarnock, having spent six years at Rugby Park before leaving in 2020.
Since then, the 24-year-old has had spells with a number of clubs, initially having stints in the Lowland League with East Kilbride, East Stirlingshire and Gretna.
McDonald earned a move back to the SPFL with Clyde in 2022, where he netted six goals in 37 appearances before leaving to join Stranraer 12 months later.
He netted three goals for the Blues at the start of last season but found starting action hard to come by, before joining League One side Edinburgh City in January.
McDonald scored four goals in 16 appearances for the Citizens, who ultimately finished rock bottom of the table.
Elgin boss Allan Hale has now convinced the striker to make the switch to Borough Briggs, becoming his first piece of incoming transfer business this summer.
