Ross County’s latest signing may be unknown to many County fans, however, we have done our research and it looks like the boy can play a bit.
Terry Dunfield comes with an impressive CV – he came through the Manchester City youth academy at the same time as Shaun Wright Philips and Joey Barton and despite leaving City with just one hour of first team action under his belt, he has gone onto captain Canada and star for Vancouver and Toronto in the MLS.
Despite having two years left on his Manchester City contract, Dunfield opted to leave Manchester City in 2002 for a move to Bury.
The midfielder made almost 100 appearances for Bury, although his progress was interrupted by a potentially career-ending broken kneecap – fortunately he recovered from that and has gone on to star in the MLS as we see in the video below.
As well as impressing in the MLS he has also proven his quality on the international stage, as we see with the stunning goal he scored for Canada against Ecuador.
We also found a video of that same goal against Ecuador with a slightly more excited commentator!
