Celtic, Rangers and Hearts all get a mention in today’s transfer rumours but unfortunately for the Old Firm, it is only the Edinburgh club’s fans who will be pleased with the stories.
Elsewhere in Scotland St Mirren have finally accepted the need to look outside of Paisley to find a manager, while down south Manchester United have been linked with a £10million move for a World Cup winning midfielder.
Then there is PSG. Marca report they are lining up a €125million bid for a rather special talent….
In Scotland
Nir Bitton
Celtic could lose their most improved player of the season, with the Daily Record reporting Sunderland are set to bid for the midfielder.
It is believed the Black Cats will make a £5million move for the player who cost the Parkhead club £700,000 from Israeli club FC Ashdod.
Ian Murray
St Mirren’s hunt for a new manager is over with Dumbarton boss Ian Murray set to take charge in Paisley.
The Buddies got rid of Danny Lennon last summer and appointed his number two, Tommy Craig. That didn’t work out so Craig’s assistant Gary Teale was given the job. That also ended in disappointment so the club have now accepted the need to look elsewhere and will appoint the former Hibs and Rangers man this afternoon.
Mitchell Dijks
Celtic have been dealt a blow in their efforts to sign Dutch defender Mitchell Dijks with the Sun reporting that Ajax will beat the Parkhead club to his signature.
Gavin Reilly
Ahead of their return to the top flight of Scottish football, Hearts are closing in on a deal for Queen of the South forward Gavin Reilly.
The move will come as a blow to Queens who have already lost defender Kevin Holt to Dundee and look set to lose Ian McShane to Ross County.
Haris Vuckic

The midfielder on loan at Ibrox from Newcastle until the summer, says he is “honoured” to be linked with a move to Olympiacos.
