Islam Feruz has four caps for Scotland Under-21s

Hibernian are reportedlt closing in on a deadline day deal to sign Chelsea Islam Feruz on loan.

The Scotland Under-21 forward came through the youth set-up at Celtic before moving to Chelsea as a 16-year-old.

Feruz, 19, has been told he is free to leave Chelsea on loan and has reportedly held talks with manager Easter Road boss  Alan Stubbs.

Last season Feruz spent unsuccessful loan spells at OFI Crete in Greece and Blackpool in the English Championship.

UPDATE: Hibs have now signed Feruz on loan until the end of the season.
