Sir Alex Ferguson will be honoured on November 5 when he is inducted into the Aberdeen FC Hall of Fame.
The most successful British manager in history, Ferguson will be guest of honour at the club’s Hall of Fame dinner at the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa followed by a question and answer session.
Ferguson, who guided the Dons to the European Cup Winners’ Cup glory in Gothenburg in 1983, will join previous inductees Joe Harper, Neil Simpson, Jim Leighton, Ally Shewan, Eddie Turnbull, Dick Donald, Teddy Scott, Fred Martin, Willie Miller, Drew Jarvie, John Hewitt and Jim Bett.
Established in 2004, the AFC Hall of Fame recognises players and managers who have reached the pinnacle of their profession, making a significant contribution to the reputation of the club.
