Liverpool defender Ryan McLaughlin’s loan spell at Aberdeen has not been ended early.
An innocuous message on social media to teammate Adam Rooney sparked suggestions the Northern Ireland international had left the club.
But the Dons have confirmed McLaughlin was allowed to return to parent club Liverpool for a week’s training and is expected to return to Pittodrie next week.
Finnish central defender Sebastian Dolivo will train with Aberdeen next week.
The 19-year-old plays for Klubi 04, the reserve team of HJK Helsinki.
