Lossiemouth manager Charlie Charlesworth fears his job could be on the line after the shock home defeat by Rothes.
The Speysiders’ 2-1 win at Grant Park has left the Lossie manager fearing for his position and he conceded his side’s run of four defeats in the last five league matches is a cause for concern.
He said: “The latest run of results could be sackable offences. We just don’t seem to be able to play for 90 minutes. I know I have got a squad in there but the problem is a mental one.
“I’m asking questions now but I’m going to let them fight it out among themselves.
“I’m struggling for words to understand what is going on with us at the moment. We are on a slippery slope just now.”
Charlesworth added: “We had a game plan but we made a mistake and went a goal down just after half-time.
“We got ourselves back in it with a goal from the penalty spot and I thought our tails were up but once again we faded away.
“We made another mistake which led to a goal and by then there was nothing left. I’m questioning myself as to why that is happening.”
