Attacker Michael Ewen led the way with a superb hat-trick as Keith scored seven goals for the first time in nearly nine years against bottom club Fort William.
A nervy first half for the Maroons ended all square, but a sparkling second-half display swept the visitors aside.
Keith manager Allan Hale said: “It was a disappointing first half, we were very sluggish, although all credit to the Fort, they are much improved.
“I was really pleased in the end, we have strength in depth in our squad now.”
Fort looked lively inthe early stages and went ahead after only three minutes through Scott Davidson.
Two goals inside a minute midway through the half seemed to turn the game in Keith’s favour.
First a Donnie Fraser cutback was swept home by Craig MacAskill, then Ewen raced clear to score past David Harrison.
Fort levelled within four minutes when Sean Ellis weaved his way into the box to score. After the break Keith took a firm grip on the match and, within eight minutes, got their noses in front thanks to a neat header from Kris Duncan for his sixth goal of the season and also the home side’s 50th competitive goal of the season.
Duncan was then toppled inside the box by Harrison just short of the hour mark, and Ewen scored the resultant penalty.
The Maroons went nap six minutes later with Ewen celebrating his treble and his eighth goal of the season with a fine curled effort into the top corner.
Fort were hit for six in the 78th minute when Duncan was taken down on the edge of the box, and substitute Scott Whelan rifled home the free kick with his first touch.
The rout was completed in the dying seconds when a Bruce Milne effort was blocked and fellow defender Adam Clark powered home a header.
Disappointed Fort assistant manager Kevin Munro said: “It’s been the story of our season so far, taking the lead 11 or 12 times then conceding too many.”
