Neil McVitie and Calvin Roddie will make their debuts for Huntly today after becoming management duo Andy Roddie and Tommy Wilson’s first signings.
McVitie joins from Formartine United, while Roddie, son of co-manager Andy, arrives from juniors Colony Park.
Both players have signed two-and-a-half year deals and are in the squad for today’s Highland League game against Deveronvale at Christie Park.
Vale have signed midfielder Kyle Willox on loan from Montrose for the rest of the season and he goes into the squad for the game. Meanwhile, Kyle Rae has taken a break from football for family reasons but remains a Vale player.
Another Formartine player on the move is central defender Scott Henry, who has joined Fraserburgh until the end of the season.
If the paperwork is concluded in time the former Deveronvale player will go straight into the middle of the Broch defence at Lossiemouth today in place of Ryan Christie, who is suspended.
Midfielder Jamie Beagrie has returned offshore, young forward Greg Buchan is nursing a back injury and Dean Cowie has a knee problem.
Lossiemouth will be without experienced forward Shawn Scott, who has an ankle injury, defender Nathan Smith is suspended, tough-tackling midfielder Martin McMullan is unavailable and midfielder Andrew Stewart is doubtful with flu.
