Charlie Charlesworth has resigned from his position as manager of Lossiemouth.
Lossie were beaten 6-0 by Highland League leaders Buckie Thistle at Victoria Park on Saturday and the news of Charlesworth’s departure was revealed in a club statement, which read: “Charlie had brought back stability to the club over the last three seasons and the club wishes to thank him for his efforts dedicated to improving the club both on and off the park.
“Stuart Cameron will take over the day-to-day running of the team until the committee takes time to digest the shock news and sees how to take the club forward.”
Charlesworth joined Lossie in October 2014 for a second stint as manager. He first arrived from Elgin City, where he was head of youth development, in January 2008 and remained in charge at Lossie until taking over the reins at Deveronvale in June 2012.
Charlesworth resigned as Vale manager in September 2014.
