Fort William stunned Nairn at Claggan Park to record their first victory since a North of Scotland Cup win over Elgin City in August 2017.

Poor defending from the visitors saw Fort go in front through an own goal in the ninth minute and two minutes later Jack Brown curled home a superb second.

Nairn then pulled one back with a strike from Callum MacLean, before Adam Naismith saw his penalty saved by Martin MacKinnon to preserve Fort’s lead.

Dylan Mackenzie did fire home an equaliser for the Wee County right on half time, but midway through the second half a superb goal from a Harry Nicolson free-kick put Fort back in front.

Donald Morrison made it four with 15 minutes remaining and a late fifth goal sealed the win.

Caley Thistle cruised to victory over Lossie at Grant Park, Nikolay Todorov heading them into an early lead, before two from Matheus Machado and Aaron Doran put the visitors three up. Fraser Forbes pulled one back 10 minutes into the second half.

Brora Rangers crushed Golspie Sutherland, with goals from Jordan Macrae, Neil Macdonald, Colin Williamson and Kyle Macleod putting the Cattachs four up at half time.

Scott Davidson netted a second half hat-trick, Macrae added his second and Sub Niall Docherty also scored to make it 9-0.

James McShane gave Strathspey an early lead against Clach with a penalty after winning the spot kick himself.

Eachiann Miller levelled for Clach with a header midway through the first half, then Alan Kerr struck before half time to give the away side the lead.

Wick eased past Invergordon, with Sam Mackay putting them ahead in the 10th minute. Ken Morrison fired home the leveller for Invergordon, but Alan Farquhar restored the home side’s lead and Davie Allan made it three. Richard MacAdie added a fourth 15 minutes from time and Craig Gunn completed their nap hand. Cameron Houston grabbed a late consolation for the visitors.
