Buckie Thistle moved up to third in the table with a hard-fought victory over a well-organised Clachnacuddin side.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 65th minute when Scott Adams side-footed home and the points were secured after Andy MacAskill was upended and Sam Urquhart scored from the spot.
Buckie boss Graeme Stewart said: “It was a good three points against a young Clach side which was well-organised. It could have been more comfortable but we missed two or three good chances in the first half.
“Their new manager Sandy McLeod had his defence very well-organised.”
McLeod said: “We dug in and frustrated Buckie. We put a power of work into the game and I thought we did really well against one of the top teams in the Highland League.
“We had five 17 year-old and a couple of 18-year-old players on the pitch today and that was pleasing.”
