Inverurie Locos defender Eric Watson has been hit with a two-match ban after appearing to butt Wick Academy’s Davie Allan. Watson had been due at a fast track tribunal hearing today but after admitting the charge of violent conduct, will be suspended for two games. The incident occurred during Saturday’s Scottish Cup second round tie at Harlaw Park and was missed by the match officials. However, footage emerged on social media on Monday evening and Watson was cited by the Scottish FA. The two games will cover Locos’ next two fixtures in the Highland League and Scottish Cup.
