A late header from Gabriel Hastings kept Fort William in the Scottish Cup as the Highlanders battled back to earn a draw at Albion Rovers.
From the threat of losing their Highland League status to finally ending their two-year-long wait for a win, it has been a whirlwind couple of months for the Fort.

An away draw to a SPFL club in the Scottish Cup seemed a big ask on paper so you’ll forgive the club’s hardy band of travelling fans for going a bit wild when their equaliser hit the back of the net at Cliftonhill.
The replay will be played at Fort William’s Claggan Park on October 26.
There were mixed fortunes elsewhere for north and north-east clubs in the Scottish Cup second round.
Brora Rangers thrashed Clach 7-0 in Inverness while managerless Inverurie Locos won 3-1 at Rothes in the two all-Highland League clashes.
Cove Rangers lost 1-0 at giant-slayers Auchinleck Talbot – who dumped Ayr United out of the cup last season – Strathspey Thistle went down 2-0 to League Two Stirling Albion.
There was happier news for Elgin, who clinched a spot in the third round with a 3-1 win at home to Lowland League Berwick Rangers.
Banks O’Dee and Buckie Thistle exited the competition last night with defeats to Edinburgh City and Bonnyrigg Rose respectively.
