Rothes manager Ross Jack praised his players after they stretched their unbeaten league run to nine matches with a 2-0 win at Nairn County.
Ali Sutherland and Craig Cormack were on target for the Mackessack Park side, who have won eight of their matches on the unbeaten sequence.
Jack said: “It was another clean sheet and another excellent performance.
“We created plenty of chances and I don’t think the final scoreline reflected our superiority, especially in the first half.
“Their goalkeeper made a couple of saves and we hit the crossbar and the post.
“They came at us in the second half but we defended well.
“Overall, I felt it was an outstanding performance so I was very happy.”
It was only the second time Nairn had tasted defeat at home in the league since a 3-0 reverse against Brora at Station Park in March.
Forres Mechanics also inflicted a rare home defeat on the Wee County last month with a 3-0 success.
Jack added: “It is a difficult place to go as Nairn are a good team.
“They have a lot of young and energetic players who knock the ball about well.
“We created loads of chances and I was delighted about that.
“Ali Sutherland scored an excellent opener for us.
“He waited for the space to open up and curled it into the top corner.
“He is playing extremely well for us.”
