Richard Macadie took his tally to 200 goals for Wick as they eased to a 4-1 victory against Fort William.
Davie Allan and Gary Manson, from the penalty spot, were also on target, while Harry Nicolson scored for Fort in manager Russell MacMorran’s last game in charge.
Wick boss Tom McKenna said: “It was a great achievement for Richie and one he thoroughly deserves.
“It wasn’t the most comprehensive of performances but we got the three points so it is a case of job done.
“It is also a positive start to the second half of our season.
“I must compliment Fort William as they try to play football in the right manner.”
The result leaves Fort bottom of the table with three points from 13 games but Fort William boss MacMorran has backed his side to move up the league during the second half of the campaign.
MacMorran said: “We have eight games in hand of most of the teams above us.
“I don’t think the lads will finish bottom of the table.
“It has been fantastic to manage this team. I can’t thank the club enough for the opportunity.”
