Muir of Ord Rovers manager Ally Ewen has joined Highland League side Fort William as assistant manager.
The 42-year-old, who led Muir of Ord to league and cup success in the amateur ranks, will assist Fort manager Callum Maclean.
Maclean said: “Ally’s arrival as assistant manager comes at the right time as we start our pre-season training and arrange our friendly games.
“Our new management team is totally committed to getting Fort William off the bottom slot this season.”
Fort chairman Ronnie Maclean said: “This is a tremendous appointment following on from our recent appointment of Calum as manager.
“Ally will be a great assistant to Callum and will bring his own unique strengths to the management team. It is hoped that Ally will also assist our recruitment of players with his wealth of knowledge of the game and players in the Inverness area.”
