This week our Highland League Weekly cameras were at Rothes v Wick Academy, while we also chatted to Brechin City about trying to rebuild the club in the Highland League.
At Mackessack Park, it was a clash of two sides who had started the Breedon Highland League campaign differently. Home side Rothes were undefeated going into the clash with Wick, while the visitors had yet to record a victory and were frustrated with five draws from seven.
We’ve got extensive highlights, plus post-match interviews and analysis of the game (and all the other fixtures from the weekend).
Meanwhile, we also talk to Brechin about their relegation from the SPFL and rebuilding the club over the summer for entry into the Highland League. The Glebe Park side have ambitions of a quick return to the Scottish leagues, but there’s also chat about their stunning playing surface, their famous hedge and the ground’s resident cat.
