Stevie Dunn, who resigned a fortnight ago as manager of Lossiemouth, has made a quick return to football after signing on as a goalkeeper at Grantown club Strathspey Thistle.
The 43-year old, who has previously kept goal for Fochabers, Rothes, Lossiemouth, Elgin City, Forres Mechanics and Clachnacuddin, signed for Strathspey last night.
He will be in the Jags squad for next Wednesday’s home game against another of his former clubs, Deveronvale.
The head greenkeeper at Hopeman Golf Club said: “I feel I still have a bit of football left in me.
“I enjoyed the training session there last Tuesday and I felt just fine after quite a hard session.”
When Dunn makes his competitive debut he will become the oldest player playing in the Highland League.
