Wick took full advantage of Brora’s week off with a 2-0 away victory at Huntly to move top of the Highland League.
Brora were not in league action due to tomorrow’s North of Scotland Cup final with Elgin so Wick knew that victory would move them top of the pile and goals from Lukasz Geruzel and Steven Anderson ensured that was the case.
Elsewhere, Rothes secured an impressive 5-2 home win against Forres Mechanics while in the Aberdeenshire Cup Fraserburgh were 3-2 victors over Buckie Thistle.
