Charlie Charlesworth has succeeded Stevie Dunn as manager of Lossiemouth.
It will be the former Elgin City head of youth development’s second stint at Grant Park.
He first arrived from the Borough Briggs club in January 2008 and remained in charge until taking over the reigns at Deveronvale, four and a half years later in June 2012.
Charlesworth, who lives less than 200 yards from Lossie’s ground, has been out of the game since resigning from Vale in September.
Coasters’ chairman Royce Clark said: “I managed to finally talk Charlie round last night, so I’m delighted that he has agreed to come back home!
“Hopefully this appointment of an experienced Highland League manager shows the club has real ambition and given the young talented squad that he inherits I am confident the club will move forward.
“From day one Charlie was my number one target, although we had some very good applications from within the Highland League.”
