Forres Mechanics become the latest team to tackle in-form Wick Academy when the Highland League co-leaders visit Mosset Park this afternoon.
Academy have won 11 out of their last 12 matches to move top of the table and travel to Forres with a full squad as forward David Allan returns from suspension.
The Can-Cans are without Graeme Grant who remains a few weeks from returning, while Ross McPherson is added to the squad despite not yet being 100% fit. Graham Fraser and Scott Moore miss out.
Deveronvale’s injury woes show no sign of easing with Jamie Wilmshurt ruled out for the rest of the season.
The midfielder, a summer signing from Aberdeen University, will be joined on the sidelines by Scott Fraser, who like his team-mate is suffering from a groin injury and will miss today’s home game against Keith.
Meanwhile, Alan Quill, who also joined the club from Aberdeen University in the close season, has returned to Ireland to pursue a permanent job in his home country.
Manager Ally Macleod has allowed Jack Presly and Tom Hutchinson to join junior clubs, with Presly signing for Culter and Hutchinson joining Dyce. Midfielder Ricky Wardrop has joined Forres Thistle on loan.
