Inverurie Locos fan John Chalmers fell at the turnstiles at Harlaw Park in Inverurie ahead of his club’s match with Wick Academy.
Two first aiders on duty at the game, assisted by physios and club doctors from both teams, used a defibrillator to revive Mr Chalmers, however, he later died in hospital.
Inverurie Locos have now announced that a minute silence will be held ahead of Locos’ next home match, against Lossiemouth FC on December 13.
A club spokesman said: “We were deeply saddened by the passing of supporter John Chalmers on Saturday.
“The football club passes its deepest condolences to the family and a minute’s silence will be held ahead of the match on December 13 against Lossiemouth FC.”
