Fort William will be bidding for a historic fourth win in a row today when they take on Deveronvale at Claggan Park.
Fort will look to build on a trio of encouraging wins against Buckie Thistle, Keith and Huntly.
Manager Calum MacLean said: “We will be trying our hardest to get this one on as the place is buzzing and we are expecting a big crowd.
“We have already matched the three wins in a row we achieved at the end of the 2001-2002 season and it would be wonderful if we could make it four on the bounce for the first time since we joined the Highland League in 1985.”
Deveronvale will welcome former Huntly forward Michele Lombardi into the squad after he signed a short-term deal until the end of the season.
Manager Ally MacLeod said: “Michele will bring a great deal of experience to a young squad.
“It is unfortunate we are getting Fort William just when they are on this good run but fair play to them as they have had a hard time of it over the years.
“Our first-choice goalkeeper Darren McConnachie will be out for around six weeks with a torn thigh muscle, so Rhys Fyfe will be in goal.”
