Brora Rangers goalkeeper Joe Malin has signed a three-year contract extension with the Highland League champions.
The new deal will keep the former Ross County stopper at Dudgeon Park until 2017.
Malin, 26, has played a pivotal part in helping Brora remain unbeaten 20 games into the season.
Davie Kirkwood’s side has the best defensive record in the league, having conceded only eight goals.
Malin said: “I’m absolutely delighted to sign a new deal.
“Sometimes in football you want to push things along and this is the perfect thing for me, the club and more importantly the supporters.
“Since I have come to the club the supporters have been tremendous. I have been with a few clubs and none have had such strong support and committed people that will do anything for the badge.”
Manager Kirkwood was delighted Malin has decided to remain at the club.
He said: “Joe is a quality player. He is one of those players to build a team around because he is committed and a leader. It’s very rare in the modern game to get a player who is so grounded and committed and we are very lucky.
“When players of Joe’s quality are running out of contract I was determined to try to get them tied up as quickly as possible and that is exactly what we have done. It’s a huge boost for everyone, the players, the board and the supporters who I’m sure will be thrilled with this news.”
