Former Polish under-20 international midfielder Leszek Nowosielski is training with Highland League Turriff United after quitting Montrose.
The 22-year-old former Rodlo Opole, Odra Opole, Ruch Zdzieszowice, Promien Opalenica, GKS Belchatow and Warta Poznan player impressed Links Park manager George Shields in bounce games in October but has departed after one appearance.
After waiting three weeks for international clearance, Nowosielski, who has also been capped for Poland at under-18 and under-19 level, featured against East Fife at the start of December.
However, he has now left by mutual consent and Montrose have alerted Turriff to the player’s availablity.
Shields said: “Leszek has been staying at Turriff and travelling to training and games was proving difficult. We have agreed that he can leave and I would imagine a Highland League club will snap him up quickly.”
Turriff manager Ross Jack said: “We have invited him to join us for training and we will have a look at him.”
