Tonight’s Highland League Weekly – with highlights of Buckie Thistle v Fraserburgh and Huntly v Clachnacuddin – is available to watch now.
On Saturday, we had cameras at both Victoria Park and Christie Park to capture the Breedon Highland League action.
Last season’s runners-up Buckie hosted the reigning champions, the Broch, but who would come out on top in what was an early acid test of both sides’ title aspirations? We’ve got the best of the action, as well as reaction from both camps.
As part of our commitment to have highlights of TWO games every Monday at 7pm this season, this week’s show also features the best bits from Huntly v Clachnacuddin – two teams who were looking for their first win of the campaign.
Callum Law and Sophie Goodwin then help Ryan Cryle analyse the rest of Saturday’s results.
This Monday’s episode also features Colin Grant, president of Formartine United, who recalls the North Lodge Park club’s journey from an uncertain future in the Junior ranks to becoming one of the Highland League’s most financially well-backed outfits.
Plus, in the first edition of our new Quickfire Questions segment, Brora Rangers’ Jordan MacRae reveals his fondness for a night on the tiles, as well as his Brazilian-themed dream dinner party.
Highland League Weekly – main show every Monday at 7pm
Our subscribers-only football show, Highland League Weekly, is back bigger and better for the new season – with episodes going live every Monday at 7pm.
At points throughout the campaign, we will again be producing Highland League Weekly EXTRA highlights shows from midweek matches, which will be released on Thursday nights.
In addition to this premium content – accessible to non-subscribers, our Friday preview show, released at noon every Friday, is a brand new offering for 2022/23 season, with our panel looking ahead to each weekend’s fixtures and discussing other talking points.
