Our Highland League Weekly Friday preview show is out now – and includes a chat on the Banks o’ Dee story which rocked the division this week, as well as all of the coming weekend’s action.
On Wednesday, Breedon Highland League new boys Dee were handed a whopping 24-point deduction due to player registration issues, which saw the Spain Park side drop from sixth to the bottom of the table on -1 points.
Ryan Cryle and Callum Law discuss the “devastating” news for Dee, plus the return of Scottish Cup winner Ross Tokely to the league at the age of 43 with Nairn County.
Our two highlights games this weekend are Turriff United v Brechin City (highlights and reaction) and Brora Rangers v Inverurie Locos (highlights), which Ryan and Callum also look ahead to, alongside the three other matches in the league and the two preliminary round clashes in GPH Builders Merchants Highland League Cup scheduled for Saturday.
A reminder the highlights from The Haughs and Dudgeon Park will form part of our main Highland League Weekly show, which will be available on The Press and Journal website on Monday at 7pm.
