Formartine United will aiming to avenge their 2-0 home defeat by Forres Mechanics when the Pitmedden men head for Mosset Park on Highland League business today.
United manager Steve Paterson said: “They turned us over at our place in October.
“We found it really difficult that day but we are in good form and hope to reverse that result. Lee Fraser is a threat for them.
“We were excellent defensively against Cove last week. We can go in with a bit of confidence and try to gain a bit of momentum for next weekend’s League Cup quarter-final against Cove.
Formartine have doubts over midfielder Neil McVitie, who has a hamstring injury and forward Callum Bagshaw, who has a calf strain.
Mechanics manager Charlie Rowley said: “Formartine’s 3-0 home win against Cove Rangers jumped out at you and it shows the difficulty of our task tomorrow.
“We have a decent record against them and I’m looking for an encouraging performance ahead of next weekend’s cup trip to Turriff.”
Both Clach and league leaders Brora Rangers have recorded 5-1 wins over Lossiemouth in the last seven days, so there could be little to choose between the pair when they meet at Grant Street.
Lossiemouth will be without suspended Bryan Bell but on-loan teenager Aaron Hamilton returns for the visit of third-placed Wick Academy, whose only absentee is injured Polish forward Lukasz Geruzel.
