Nairn County’s long-serving defender Glenn Main has left the club after nearly 20 years of service.
The 37-year-old made his debut for the Wee County in May 2003 and clocked up close to 500 appearances.
Main was part of the side which won the Highland League Cup in 2011 and the North of Scotland Cup the following season.
He has also served as club captain and arrangements will be made in due course to mark his service to Nairn.
Manager Steven Mackay said: “Glenn’s service to Nairn has been incredible and will likely never be matched. He has dedicated his entire Highland League career to one football club, and I have an enormous amount of respect for him for that.
“The club is now entering into a new era and Glenn and I discussed what was best for him and the club and we mutually agreed that this was the right outcome.
“The club will work with Glenn over the next few months to arrange a game at the end of the season to give the fans the opportunity to acknowledge Glenn’s commitment and service which is the very least that he deserves.”
Today Glenn Main's long association with Nairn County has come to an end. We remain in discussions with Glenn to arrange a suitable send-off for our club record appearance holder. All the best Glenn. More:https://t.co/xVZo3rksi6 pic.twitter.com/YXFFSzb1Ov

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Will Counsell has left Nairn after relocating to Wolverhampton.
