Tonight’s Highland League Weekly leads off with the barnstorming encounter between Brora Rangers and Banks o’ Dee in the GPH Builders Merchants Highland League Cup – a chaotic, controversial cup tie which went all the way to sudden death penalties!
We’ve got highlights of the potential game-of-the-season, including great goals, plus a highly-disputed penalty and red card, as well as reaction from both camps after a Dudgeon Park classic which left one boss ecstatic and another furious.
Our second highlights game was no damp squib either, with Brechin City and Rothes also sharing six goals (including another two penalties)!
On top of this, there’s analysis of all eight Highland League Cup results from the weekend, a chat with Huntly’s Angus Grant on recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, and Forres Mechanics’ Martin Groat faces the Quickfire Questions.
Highland League Weekly – main show every Monday at 7pm
Our subscribers-only football show, Highland League Weekly, is back bigger and better for the new season – with episodes going live every Monday at 7pm and normally featuring highlights of TWO Breedon Highland League matches, plus reaction, analysis and a host of features/interviews.
At points throughout the campaign, we will again be producing Highland League Weekly EXTRA highlights shows from midweek matches, which will be released on Thursday nights.
In addition to this premium content, our Friday preview show, released at noon every Friday and accessible to non-subscribers, is a brand new offering for 2022/23 season, with our panel looking ahead to each weekend’s fixtures and discussing other talking points.
